QSM Semiconductores Launches Manufacturing Plant in Querétaro, Mexico, to Boost Semiconductor Production

QSM Semiconductores has opened its first manufacturing plant in Querétaro, Mexico, with an investment of MX$777 million (approx. US$45 million) and the creation of 210 jobs. The facility, located in the Technological Innovation Industrial Park, focuses on MEMS technology for semiconductor manufacturing and aims to strengthen Mexico's position in the global semiconductor value chain.
The plant will produce 450-nanometer legacy node chips, with 90% of production serving the domestic market. QSM plans to establish two additional plants by 2035.
