The Sud-Milienne wastewater treatment plant in Radès is set for a €40 million rehabilitation and expansion project under the Dépoll Med program, funded by AFD, BEI, and the EU in partnership with ONAS. The project aims to modernize infrastructure from the 1980s, improve wastewater treatment quality, reduce pollution, and enhance treated water for agricultural irrigation, while incorporating a sludge digestion unit for biogas production.
