REI Co-op Advances Climate Action with Renewable Energy Projects and Sustainable Material Initiatives in 2025

In 2025, REI Co-op advanced its sustainability efforts by launching renewable energy projects, including a partnership with Ever.green in South Carolina, and extending collaborations with Sol Systems and Nester Hosiery to support environmental education. The co-op also joined the Symbiosis Coalition for carbon removal initiatives and signed a three-year agreement with Ambercycle to purchase regenerated polyester, reinforcing its commitment to a circular product lifecycle.
