Reliance Industries to Launch 10 GW Solar Manufacturing Giga Factory Amid New Energy Investments

Reliance Industries Ltd is set to launch a 10 GW solar manufacturing giga factory, aiming for a total capacity of 20 GW for its own use by 2026. The company has invested approximately ₹80,000 crore in its new energy business, which includes solar, green hydrogen, and battery production, with commercial sales of solar modules expected to begin once operational targets are met. The solar energy generated will support various sectors, including data centers and petrochemicals, while RIL also develops a green fuels ecosystem.
