HYDROGEN
Repairs to a collapsed wastewater pipe in Tijuana, known as the Insurgentes Collector, were completed in just three days, effectively stopping the discharge into the Tijuana River. The U.S. International Boundary and Water Commission reported that the incident had diverted approximately 11.5 million gallons per day before the repairs, which were completed ahead of the estimated ten-day timeline. Monitoring by the Comisión Internacional de Límites y Aguas indicated no significant increase in transboundary flow or hydrogen sulfide levels during the incident.
