The municipality of Rietschen, Germany, is moving forward with new business initiatives after a previous project was halted due to the presence of protected garlic toads. Plans include relocating the toads to facilitate a 40 million Euro biogas facility by Envitec Biogas AG, alongside a 100 MW photovoltaic facility and wind turbines by Lausitz Energie Bergbau AG, while also developing the Teicha business area and a co-working center expected to finalize by 2027.
