Rs 2 Crore Approved for Sewage Treatment Plant Upgrade at Wenlock District Hospital, Mangaluru
WATER INFRASTRUCTURE & DESALINATION
The Karnataka government has approved Rs 2 crore for upgrading the sewage treatment plant (STP) at Wenlock District Hospital in Mangaluru. The upgrade aims to enhance the STP's capacity from 350 KLD to 500 KLD, addressing current wastewater treatment requirements.
The project will utilize existing infrastructure while adding new sequencing batch reactors and collection tanks. Tenders for the project have been invited following administrative approval.
