Rubicon Carbon has secured an agreement to supply Microsoft with two million carbon removal credits over nine years from Kijani Forestry's Smallholder Farmer Forestry Project in Northern Uganda. This initiative, part of a broader framework established in May 2025, aims to enhance local economic opportunities while addressing climate change through the planting of approximately 30 million trees and the creation of sustainable revenue from timber and charcoal. Rubicon will also provide long-term financing to support the project's development and credit delivery.
