Rwanda Supplies Tungsten to U.S. Defence Supply Chain through Agreement with Global Tungsten & Powders
STRATEGIC MINERALS
Rwanda's Nyakabingo Mine has entered the U.S. defence supply chain, supplying tungsten for the first time through an agreement with Global Tungsten & Powders. Between four and seven containers of tungsten concentrate will be shipped quarterly for two years.
Rwanda, ranked among the top six tungsten producers, aims to establish itself as a reliable source amidst rising global demand and limited supply. The agreement follows Trinity Metals' operational improvements and regulatory compliance measures in Rwandan mining.
