RWTH Aachen University has successfully completed the 'SeLv' project, which developed a modular powertrain kit for hydrogen-powered heavy-duty trucks, funded by the German Federal Ministry of Transport. The project includes a third prototype truck, with the second receiving road approval, and aims to facilitate the conversion of diesel trucks to electric, achieving a range of 750 to over 1,000 kilometers. This initiative, backed by nearly 17 million euros, seeks to enhance development processes in the automotive sector.
