Saint Kitts and Nevis Government Launches Water Security Exploratory Drilling Programme
WATER INFRASTRUCTURE & DESALINATION
The Government of Saint Kitts and Nevis is enhancing its water security strategy with exploratory drilling by a Trinidad and Tobago company. Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew indicated that drilling is underway in Saddlers, with ten sites identified.
This initiative complements a $60 million investment in a desalination plant, producing two million gallons of potable water daily, set to be commissioned on February 24. The government aims to ensure consistent water supply and improve national infrastructure.
