Chinese renewable energy provider SAJ has launched a renewable energy laboratory in Zimbabwe to focus on education and skills development for local technicians in renewable technologies. The initiative aims to address the country's significant power deficit while promoting sustainability and capacity building, offering free educational programs and a 10-year warranty on products. Although SAJ currently lacks a manufacturing plant in Zimbabwe, it plans to create job opportunities through skills transfer and local component design.
