Seabound has successfully completed its first full-scale maritime carbon capture units at its Doncaster facility, set to be deployed on the UBC Cork vessel. The company secured €1.5 million in funding from the European Space Agency to support commercial deployments and is collaborating with thyssenkrupp Polysius for green lime production, aiming to reduce Scope 3 emissions for Heidelberg Materials. The event marked a significant transition from pilot projects to commercial implementation, attended by over 70 stakeholders.
