Sigurd Invests NT$1.54B to Acquire Unimicron's Hukou Plant to Meet AI and ASIC Demand

Sigurd is investing NT$1.54 billion to acquire a factory from Unimicron in Hukou Industrial Park, Taiwan. This facility will be Sigurd's second plant in Hukou and is expected to start operations in the second half of 2026.

The investment aims to support the growing demand for AI servers, ASICs, and high-performance computing, integrating advanced technologies and smart factory capabilities. Sigurd anticipates significant revenue growth from semiconductor sales driven by these applications.
