Singapore will launch the National Space Agency of Singapore (NSAS) on April 1 to enhance its space capabilities and capitalize on the growing space economy. The agency will assist in satellite operations and geospatial data analytics, with a focus on applications in urban planning and environmental monitoring. With over S$200 million allocated for space research and development since 2022, NSAS aims to strengthen Singapore's satellite infrastructure and establish regulatory frameworks for the space sector.
