SOLRITE Energy has launched a new virtual power plant (VPP) offering in Texas, allowing homes to utilize sonnen energy storage. The program provides up to 60 kWh of storage per home at a rate of 12¢ per kWh for a monthly fee of $20.

This initiative aims to support homeowners, especially those with stranded solar arrays, by monetizing stored energy in a flexible grid system. The program targets deregulated utilities in Texas, with plans to enroll up to 10,000 customers by the end of 2026.
