Space Commerce Way on Merritt Island has been renamed State Road 321 to highlight its importance to Brevard County's aerospace industry. The road has undergone significant upgrades, expanding from two to four lanes to better accommodate increasing traffic demands from aerospace activities, including a record 109 launches last year. These enhancements aim to support the transport of heavy loads crucial for the region's aerospace sector, which employs over 150,000 people statewide.
