Space Forge successfully achieved plasma generation aboard its Forgestar-1 satellite, a significant milestone for autonomous crystal growth in semiconductor manufacturing. Launched in 2025, the satellite aims to grow high-purity crystal seeds in microgravity using materials such as GaN, SiC, AlN, and diamond, with the goal of enhancing structural quality.
