ST1 Biokraft Unveils Major Biogas Facility in Mönsterås, Sweden

On September 10, 2025, ST1 Biokraft inaugurated its new flagship biogas facility in Mönsterås, Kalmar County, marking its 13th plant with a production capacity of approximately 138 GWh of liquid biogas. The facility, which took its first construction steps in February 2023 and commenced operations in August 2025, is designed to process around 260,000 tons of manure annually, significantly contributing to Sweden's renewable energy goals and sustainable agriculture.
