Study Recommends $2.83B Regional Sewage Treatment Plant for Randolph County

A study for the Piedmont Triad Regional Water Authority suggests building a $2.83 billion regional wastewater treatment facility in Randolph County to meet future infrastructure demands and support sustainable growth for nearby municipalities, including High Point, Greensboro, Asheboro, Randleman, Franklinville, and Ramseur. It estimates $314.5 million in state and federal grants may be available to help fund the project.
