SUiCTE Secures ¥140 Million Seed Funding for Semiconductor Image Sensors for Satellites

SUiCTE has completed a seed funding round, raising ¥140 million, including ¥100 million from Quantum Leap Ventures and Incubate Fund. The funds will support the development of semiconductor image sensors and cameras for space satellites, addressing domestic procurement challenges. The company, founded in August 2024 and affiliated with Shizuoka University, aims to leverage its research for applications in space and industrial sectors.
