Sungrow has delivered a hybrid battery energy storage solution in collaboration with UNSW and Dubbo Regional Council, focusing on Energy Management Systems (EMS) and Virtual Power Plant (VPP) technologies. The project, funded through the TRaCE initiative, enhances sustainability and energy efficiency. It includes two hybrid energy storage systems integrated with existing solar PV, providing a platform for real-time research validation and operational cost reduction.
