TCP Circular is progressing plans for a new plastics recycling plant at the Port of Sunderland, with over 100 jobs expected to be created. Preparatory engineering works are underway after planning permission was granted in February 2023. The facility will process approximately 100,000 tonnes of mixed plastic waste annually and is anticipated to become operational by 2028.
