TCPL Green Energy Solutions and Jharkhand Government Sign MoU for Low-Emission Manufacturing Plant
TCPL Green Energy Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (TCPL GES) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Jharkhand to establish a manufacturing plant for low-to-zero-emission technologies.
The agreement, signed by state officials including Chief Minister Hemant Soren, aims to support India's climate goals and facilitate Jharkhand's transition to a low-carbon economy. TCPL GES will invest over Rs. 350 Crores to produce powertrain solutions such as Hydrogen Internal Combustion Engines, Battery Electric Vehicle Systems, and Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle Systems, with production expected to start in 2024.
The initiative is projected to create over 300 jobs and foster a supply ecosystem for new technologies in the state. This collaboration aligns with the Make in India initiative and aims to position Jharkhand as a hub for advanced manufacturing.
