Tenaris SA, a Luxembourg-based steel pipes supplier, has signed a four-year contract with BP PLC, a London-based oil and gas firm, to provide casing and tubing for the Tangguh UCC project in Papua Barat, Indonesia. The agreement includes the supply of 13Cr steel grade tubulars, along with technical support and field services. Tenaris's managing director for Asia Pacific, Liu Jinghua Philix, emphasized the importance of this initiative for Indonesia's energy security and its commitment to lower carbon solutions.
