Terra-Gen has launched the Lockhart CL I and II battery energy storage project in San Bernardino County, California, with a total capacity of 128.7 MW, sufficient to power over 128,000 households for four hours. The facility, which includes 164 battery enclosures, connects to Southern California Edison's Kramer Junction Substation and is backed by long-term agreements with Pacific Gas and Electric Company. The construction phase created over 115 jobs, totaling more than 85,000 work hours.
