Texas Instruments, Micron, Onsemi, and IonQ Announce Semiconductor Manufacturing Initiatives

Texas Instruments has initiated 300-mm wafer production at its Sherman, Texas facility. Micron has commenced construction on a new advanced NAND facility in Singapore, investing $7B, with a total potential of $24B.
Onsemi and GlobalFoundries are collaborating on next-generation GaN power devices, expected for customer sampling in early 2026. IonQ plans to acquire Skywater Technology for $1.8B to enhance its quantum computing capabilities with direct semiconductor manufacturing access.
