The Department of Climate Change and Environment will coordinate efforts across government agencies to develop necessary laws and policies, while the Ministry of Energy will explore carbon dioxide sequestration potential in the upper Gulf of Thailand. If deemed feasible, infrastructure for CCS could begin development in 2034, targeting emissions reductions in challenging sectors and fostering sustainable economic growth.
