Thailand's DOEB Establishes National Standards for EV Charging and Hydrogen Infrastructure

The Department of Energy Business (DOEB) in Thailand is creating national standards for electric vehicle (EV) charging and hydrogen fuel infrastructure to enhance safety and investment clarity. New standards for EV charging stations will be implemented in April 2026, with a goal of EVs comprising 30% of total auto production by 2030. Additionally, regulations for hydrogen infrastructure are in development, aiming to support Thailand's green energy strategy and net-zero emissions goal by 2050.
