In 2024, the Atlantic Council launched a research initiative on the future of U.S. industry in a decarbonizing world, examining how U.S. policy can support a sustainable industrial base without significant budget increases. The project resulted in two reports addressing the unique challenges of enhancing sustainable competitiveness across various industrial sectors.
