Thetford Mines, Quebec, is redeveloping its former asbestos mining sites through the DuGrisAuVert Strategic Plan, which aims to utilize 450 million tons of mining tailings. Supported by local businesses and the Quebec Ministry of Economy, four priority projects have been established, including the DuGrisAuVert cooperative.
