TMC Cancela Launches H2RCV Project for Green Hydrogen in Galician Forest Management
TMC Cancela is initiating the H2RCV project to develop a robotic platform utilizing green hydrogen for decarbonizing mulching and maintenance operations in forests and green areas. This project aims to replace conventional combustion engines with hydrogen fuel cells.
Attendees at the presentation included Carmen Cotelo from Axencia Galega de Innovación and Norberto Penedo from IGAPE, who highlighted the project’s role in fostering a resilient industrial model in Galicia focused on decarbonised value chains. H2RCV aligns with the EU's Sustainable Development Goals and is expected to enhance the competitiveness of Galician industry through new manufacturing processes and clean technology business lines.
