Turkey Invests in LNG Project at Nador West Med Port in Morocco

HYDROGENNATURAL GAS

Turkey is investing in a liquefied natural gas (LNG) project at the Nador West Med port in Morocco, aiming to secure a long-term lease for a floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU). This initiative, which builds on Turkey's prior involvement in constructing the port facilities, is set to enhance Morocco's energy supply and support future green hydrogen exports. The port is expected to become operational in the second half of 2026, with a significant industrial zone planned to facilitate energy infrastructure development.
