UAE investments in Egypt fell from a record $39 billion in 2023-2024 to $4.7 billion in 2024-2025, according to CAPMAS. This decline follows the signing of a $35 billion investment deal for the Ras Al-Hekma development. Meanwhile, remittances from 1.3 million Egyptians in the UAE were $3.6 billion, and UAE imports from Egypt reached $7 billion.
