The Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE) and Al Rostamani Group organized a community mangrove planting event at Jebel Ali Wildlife Sanctuary in Dubai, promoting nature-based solutions and supporting the UAE's 'Year of Family' initiative. This initiative is part of a national goal to plant 100 million mangroves by 2030, contributing to the UAE's Net Zero target by 2050. The partnership, guided by a Memorandum of Understanding signed in October 2023, aims to enhance mangrove cultivation and establish a nursery for increased seedling production.
