UK Signs Critical Minerals Agreement with Kazakhstan to Enhance Supply Chains

The UK has signed a critical minerals deal with Kazakhstan, aiming to diversify supply chains and support British investment in the region. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Kazakhstan's Deputy Minister for Industry and the UK Trade Minister.
This agreement aligns with the UK's Critical Minerals Strategy, which seeks to reduce dependency on single countries for critical minerals by 2035. Additionally, the UK announced education cooperation agreements with Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan, and further initiatives in carbon capture and forestry.
