Unicorn India Ventures has successfully raised Rs 1,200 crore for its third fund, surpassing its initial target of Rs 1,000 crore, with a focus on semiconductors, spacetech, and AI infrastructure. The fund plans to make around 20 investments averaging Rs 10-15 crore each and has already seen early success with several portfolio companies securing significant follow-on funding. Notably, approximately 33% of the fund's capital comes from international limited partners, many of whom are new to the Indian startup ecosystem.
