Uniper SE has entered a long-term agreement with AM Green Ammonia India Pvt Ltd for the annual supply of 500,000 metric tons of renewable ammonia, set to commence in 2028 from Kakinada, India. This partnership supports India's National Hydrogen Mission and aims to facilitate decarbonization in European industries, while AM Green constructs a 1 MTPA facility backed by international investors. Additionally, Uniper is working with thyssenkrupp Uhde on ammonia cracking technology for its hydrogen import terminal in Wilhelmshaven, Germany.
