USA Bioenergy Partners with Johnson Matthey and Honeywell for Sustainable Aviation Fuel Production in Texas

HYDROGENCARBON CAPTURE

USA Bioenergy has selected Johnson Matthey and Honeywell to provide advanced technologies for producing synthetic paraffinic kerosene (SPK) at its Bon Wier, Texas biorefinery. The facility aims to convert one million tons of biomass annually into 65 million gallons of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), adhering to strict aviation standards.

The project will utilize Fischer-Tropsch pathways and implement Honeywell's control systems for optimal operations. Additionally, USA Bioenergy has secured a 20-year agreement with Southwest Airlines for SPK, supporting emissions reduction goals in aviation.
