Vexlum has raised €10 million to enhance its semiconductor laser manufacturing in Tampere, Finland. The funding, considered the largest Seed round for a Nordic photonics company, includes €6 million from Kvanted and grants from Tesi and the EIC Fund.

This capital will enable Vexlum to expand production for applications in quantum computing, satellite communications, and more, aiming for €100 million in revenue by 2030. The company utilizes III-V semiconductor materials for laser wafers, which are critical for high-tech industries.
