VINSSEN and MANA Engineering Sign MOU for Hydrogen Fuel Cell Retrofit on 800 TEU Vessel

VINSSEN and MANA Engineering have signed an MOU to develop a hydrogen fuel cell retrofit for an 800 TEU feeder vessel in Northern Europe. The retrofit will replace auxiliary power with hydrogen fuel cells and battery storage, maintaining the existing propulsion system. This initiative aims to reduce CO₂ emissions and comply with EU maritime regulations.
