Viridien has invested in French natural hydrogen company Mantle8 to leverage its advanced data and sensing technologies, aiming to accelerate hydrogen exploration across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This collaboration will allow Mantle8 to utilize the GeoVerse geological database and Sercel Wing DFU 3C passive seismic sensors, enhancing the imaging of hydrogen systems and reducing drilling risks. Mantle8, which has identified significant hydrogen concentrations in France and is targeting low production costs, seeks to support EU decarbonization goals.
