Wabash Valley Power Alliance to Build 18-Mile Transmission Line in Indiana

ENERGY STORAGEDATA AND AI INFRASTRUCTURE

Wabash Valley Power Alliance is initiating an 18-mile transmission line project in Indiana, connecting the Elderberry Substation to the Stillwell Substation, aimed at improving service for northern Indiana and Illinois communities. The project, which is in its early stages and not linked to local developments like the Amazon data center, will be funded by the Alliance without taxpayer costs or increased power bills. An open house is scheduled for March, with construction expected to begin in 2027.
