Wageningen University Develops Plus Ultra III, a CO₂-Negative Lab Building

Wageningen University & Research has unveiled Plus Ultra III, a CO₂-negative lab building covering 7,600 square meters, which includes laboratories, pilot plants, and offices. Constructed mainly with cross-laminated timber and featuring recycled PVC façade panels, the building utilizes solar energy and geothermal storage while promoting a nature-inclusive landscape. It stands as one of the first CO₂-negative lab facilities in the Netherlands.
