The Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs were awarded $1 million by the Oregon Department of Energy to install solar and battery systems at three sites on the Warm Springs Reservation. This project, in partnership with Warm Springs Power and Water Enterprises and the Warm Springs Housing Authority, aims to enhance energy sovereignty and reduce costs for residents, providing reliable power during outages. The installations will occur at Park Place Court, West Hills Affordable Housing, and Greeley Heights Community Center.
