Westport Fuel Systems Inc. has launched production at its expanded facility in Cambridge, Ontario, and its new Hydrogen Innovation Center in Changzhou, China, aimed at developing GFI-branded fuel system components. These facilities will support Westport's strategies for hydrogen, CNG, and RNG, responding to the growing demand in the hydrogen commercial vehicle market, particularly in China, which dominated global hydrogen transportation sales in early 2025. Initial product shipments began in December 2025, with both sites expected to increase capacity through Q1 2026.
