XCharge North America and Energy Plus are collaborating to build a major battery-backed EV charging depot in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, set to launch in Q2 2026. The facility will feature 44 GridLink units with 9.46 MWh of energy storage and 88 parking spaces, aimed at enhancing energy resiliency and lowering electricity costs in urban environments. Energy Plus plans to replicate this model in other U.S. cities to support decentralized power and improve local infrastructure.
