ENERGY STORAGE

Zenobē has launched its 300MW/600MWh battery energy storage system in Kilmarnock, Scotland, as part of a £1bn investment in battery storage and clean transportation. This facility increases Zenobē's operational capacity in the UK to 731MW, with an additional 568MW under construction, and will provide Stability Services using grid-forming inverters. The project employs Wärtsilä's Quantum technology and is part of a broader legal challenge against Ofgem's cap and floor scheme.
