Dairy farmers in Giessenburg are seeking a €6.1 million subsidy from Zuid-Holland to establish a manure digestion facility aimed at converting manure into green gas. This initiative supports the BLES2032 project, which aims to make Bleskensgraaf gas-free by 2032. A decision on the subsidy is expected in the first quarter of 2026.
