11th Attack Squadron Transitions to Combat Operations Under 25th Attack Wing

DEFENSE

On October 13, 2025, the 11th Attack Squadron transitioned from a training unit to combat operations under the newly re-designated 25th Attack Wing, now solely focused on MQ-9 missions. This shift, supported by the introduction of Automatic Takeoff and Landing Capability and extensive training, allows the squadron to operate 24/7 with sortie durations exceeding 20 hours. The relocation of seven ground control stations from Shaw Air Force Base to Creech Air Force Base further enhances mission execution capabilities.
